- The aquarium has become covered in hair algae. Today I scraped off all of the glass and now I can see my fish again! It's still all over the plants, but I think I'll battle that when I move home for the summer. Also, on Wednesday my little frog died. I believe his foot got caught in the filter as I found the body there. I'll miss the little guy, he was so intriguing!
- On the same day, I added my newest member of the aquarium...Hector the Crystal Red Shrimp. He was listed as an amano shrimp in the store for $3 which was a snag for a CRS I think. I didn't really realize the deal I grabbed until I got home and read about CRS. Anyhow, above is a photo of him (it's easier to see if you click to enlarge); he claimed the java moss within minutes of being released into the tank.
- Also, tested the water on Tuesday and all was well 0,0,~15.
