At Laura's Dog Boarding, you can rest assured that your dog will be comfortable and happy while you are away!  We will work with you to decide whether it is best for your dog to stay at Laura's Doggie Dude Ranch, or for your pet to stay in the comfort of her own home.  

The Packages: 

Stay at Laura's Doggie Dude Ranch: $10/night

  •  Your dog will receive at least one hour of free running time per day.  Also, at least 20 minutes of this is guaranteed to be interactive play with Laura (i.e. frisbee, ball, etc.)  
  • To qualify for this package, your dog must interact well with other dogs as the resident dogs will be out and about.  
  • Also, your dog will be kenneled at night in an outdoor kennel with a dog house that is built into the garage (see photos of the Dude Ranch).  
  • There is an extra $5 fee for pick up or drop off of your dog (to qualify for this, your dog must be content to ride in the car in a crate that you provide).
  • When you bring your dog, please also bring:
    • Your dog's regular buckle collar and tags
    • Your dog's leash
    • A crate if your dog is crate trained
    • Your dog's food/water bowls
    • Enough food for the entire stay
    • Proof of current Rabies, DHLPP, and kennel cough shots from your veterinarian (a letter-headed or signed receipt will do)
    • The appropriate completed forms that can be obtained on this website (Laura will have extras if you forget, but it's much easier to fill this out ahead of time so that you can look up the required information).
    • Any special treats, toys, blankets, etc that your dog would find comforting.

Single Home Visit Daily:  $15/ day

  • Your dog will receive one home visit per day which will include:
    • Feeding
    • 20 minutes of walking or playtime (frisbee, ball, etc)
    • Checking water
    • Other small daily home tasks can be included if appropriate (feeding other small pets, getting mail/paper, etc.)
  • These visits will most likely take place in the afternoon, unless other arrangements are made.
  • You must provide proof of current Rabies, and DHLPP vaccinations.
  • Your dog must wear a collar and tags at all times that he/she is under the care of Laura's Doggie Dude Ranch (even while in your home).  Also, providing a leash for your dog is strongly encouraged and appreciated.
  • The appropriate forms must be completed and received prior to the first home visit.

Double Home Visit Daily: $20/day

  • Your dog will receive two home visits per day which will include (between the two):
    • Feeding at one or both visits
    • 20 minutes of walking or playtime (frisbee, ball, etc) at one visit
    • Checking water at both visits
    • A 5 minute potty break at each visit 
    •  Other small daily home tasks can be included if appropriate (feeding fish, getting mail/paper, etc.)
  • One of these visits will be in the morning and one in the afternoon; the 20 minutes of playtime/walking will most likely take place in the afternoon.
  • You must provide proof of current Rabies, and DHLPP vaccinations.
  • Your dog must wear a collar and tags at all times that he/she is under the care of Laura's Doggie Dude Ranch (even while in your home).  Also, providing a leash for your dog is strongly encouraged and appreciated.
  • The appropriate forms must be completed and received prior to the first home visit.

Availability

Be sure to make reservations for your dog ASAP as there is a limit as to the number of dogs that can be accommodated at a time. 

Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your dog's reservations, please do so at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.
